Celestial Stuff ~ 24 Aug 2021

There’s stuff going on... celestial stuff. Of course, while some might chose more scatological terms given Pluto is entrenched in the “stuff,” there is also a fertilization element to the patterns in play... for better, for fecundity, for evolution... undeniably so.

With the Sun now neatly tucked into Virgo and with Mars and Mercury leading the way for the Sun’s transit, perhaps a look at the other Mercury-ruled sign might offer some sorting relief from all the goings on right now. Standing together in Gemini, the lunar north node and Ceres work to conjure up some positive messaging... messaging about marching order, details to be done, plans to be performed, and better, personal advocacy for ones absolute mission in life no matter what.

No doubt it’s time to talk about Pluto in Capricorn and his upcoming squares with Eris. All of the Capricorn transits to Eris in Aries last year... Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto... contributed to that thing known as the global lock down, in whatever manifestation endured where you live... and those transits contributed to the sense of the lost year, missed chances, isolation, exclusion and best creative efforts being shunned by the world or not having the proper place to shine.

On Friday, 27 August, Pluto and Eris exactly square, as if exactitude is necessary. With outer planets in aspect, the trends are in play for weeks, sometimes months around the exact aspect. In this next quadrature iteration, both Pluto and Eris move in retrograde motion.

Pluto turns direct on 6 October and three days later, he again squares Eris... for the last time in this cycle. Halledamnlujah! There’s mercy after all. Of course there is... there are always other factors... merciful factors... in play when more difficult transits are clocking. While it may feel like being handed a pair of pliers when a hammer might be the superior tool, there is an application for all the transits happening if only the tool can be deciphered. Eris does contain a reversal element. When a tool does not fit, she replies, “try it the other way.”

In the Pluto-Eris square of the moment, the node and Ceres are aligned. Venus in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries. While an opposition may not seem like the ideal tool, it is a powerful device when used for long-term gain. It is, after all, still in the influence of the waning trine of Venus to Saturn in Aquarius. With the near stellium in Virgo... it’s time for abstract logic. There’s reason and there’s also paradoxical logic. When the two share and combine divergent strategies, Virgo planets and Aquarian trends get along, much to the delight of Venus in Libra.

For the October Pluto-Eris quadrature, five days prior Mars in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries. Three days before the square, the Sun in Libra stands across the sky from Chiron in Aries. You seeing the pattern here? Chiron in Aries and personal planets create remedies and antidotes for personal healing.

Consider that Eris in Aries inflames the sense of being closed out of the collective, held back from the balance of human kind, disqualified from participation and generally being excluded. Pluto’s transit in Capricorn craves the sense that ones intention and subsequent actions create an undeniable position of personal potency in life. Clearly, these agendas conflict and seek absolution from other transits. With both the Pluto-Eris squares to come, despite political clashes, pandemic isolation and such, Pluto’s creative urges stir above and beyond all other agendas and signify that with the cooperation of Chiron in Aries and personal planets in Libra healing and good intend to find their way into the mix.

It’s true.

For this week’s Pluto-Eris, click on the hyperlink of destiny in life that Ceres to the north lunar node provides. Declare your intention... your full mission statement for this incarnation. With Venus in Libra opposing Chiron in Aries promise yourself that you shall engage, continue and create using everything available in your skill and creativity kits that you received and cultivated in this lifetime.

Figure you’ve got a bit more than a month to make good with all these efforts. In October, with Pluto direct, it’s time to assume once again that given the final square to Eris, hopefully the pandemic isolation wanes without threat of another wave and life continues onward. Regardless, figure that given that the Libran Mars and solar opposition to Chiron in Aries the transits mandate that you show the world what good you’ve been doing. Show your wares, stand tall and deliver the best of your solution-oriented goods. Tantalizing transactions no doubt follow.

As October begins, there’s that “Oh my God, only three months left in this year” thing that subconsciously or unconsciously kicks in for anyone even dimly aware of the concept of goal and aspiration fulfillment.

Both Chiron and Eris stand in Aries. Together they point out that if you don’t want to feel shut out from your own life, then do what’s good for what ails you. Affirm the need for personal healing, get that done too... perhaps as part of all the life’s tasks that summon your attention.

Of course this all comes back to this week. Think Ceres to north node in Gemini. No matter what, what you’re all about must be announced to the world in a positive, contributing manner. Think Venus in Libra opposite Chiron in Aries. Apply your assets with charm and decorum such that their appeal resonates as undeniable. The behind the scenes personal plus that you hold in your hip pocket is that being a solution person and paying good things forward is more than good for what ails you... it’s liberating liniment... it’s grease applied to the gears of galactic insights that pour your way from all the transits, especially and including those that might be considered the most unlikely of positive players... Pluto and Eris.
